Tie-Breaking Rules
When two or more candidates score equal marks in GUBEDCET, their inter-se merit is decided in the following order: first, by the ratio of positive marks to negative marks (the candidate with the higher absolute value of this ratio gets the better rank); second, by the number of unanswered questions (fewer unanswered questions means a better rank); and third, if still tied, the older candidate gets the higher rank.
